Great knife, don't like the sticky rubber grip though

I tried this out along with a dozen knives or so, it was one of my favorites and a keeper. Something about the blade narrowing before the handle, the jimping and the PERFECT action out of the box just sold me. I'm still lurking though looking for grips. The sticky rubber holds in pocket TOO well, takes 2 hands to put it back in a jeans pocket :/

It is a size I like, light weight

It is a size I like, light weight, artfully crafted. The handle is more utilitarian for me than the mini griptilian. That handle is hard and slippery.

Working with the 565 outside in the snow or rain is optimized by the grippy versaflex handle.

This knife is manufactured in the US with American created, designed and manufactured steel. I see no reason that the current throw away culture cannot be replaced, little by slowly, with a quality long lasting high utility production consciousness. Costs can be worked out.
