Condor CTK3921-5.1HC Selknam Knife
Condor CTK3921-5.1HC Selknam Knife 5.12" 1075 Carbon Steel Blade, Micarta Handles, Welted Leather Sheath with Fire Starter
The Selknam Knife honors the aboriginal inhabitants of "Tierra del Fuego" in the extreme south of Chile. Extinguished between the 19th and 20th centuries, they were skilled hunters, fishers, and nomadic land collectors of great size and strength. The Selknam Knife has a full tang blade with a typical Condor convex edge. The back of the spine has a finger grip for use during controlled cuts. It has a Condor Classic finish and a "Coconut Breaker" for breaking or crushing elements. The back of the handle has a notch for use as a "Bowdrill" and a scraper for fire starting with ferrocerium rods, thanks to its 90° steel cut. Its wide blade and slender handle lend it to hard, heavy use and it includes a handcrafted welted leather drop sheath with 1095 flint striker.
