GiantMouse Atelier Folding Knife 2.875" Elmax Satin Blade Carbon Fiber Handles (Italy)

The GiantMouse Atelier is the EDC-friendlier version of the popular Grand model, which was based on the GM5.

The GiantMouse ACE Atelier Folding Knife is the EDC-friendly version of the popular Grand model, designed for ultimate performance. The tough Elmax steel blade and carbon fiber handles ensure long-lasting durability, while the perfect ergonomics, fit and finish provide excellent carry and control. Boasting an impressive design and bold look, this knife is sure to impress.While the ACE Atelier still checks every box on the list, GiantMouse changed a couple of things in addition to the size. They went for a nice American-made Canvas Micarta for the rounded scales and went with nested liners and a strong liner lock.

GiantMouse did keep the large stout backspacer (in titanium) for strength but added a nice deep carry wire pocket clip, for a nice comfortable carry.

The Elmax steel blade was designed to be perfect for all-around use, and they kept it exactly like it was in the GM5. A high Saber Flat Grind makes it a strong but very effective slicer, and the pronounced swedge provides a fine point for penetration without losing strength at the tip.

The Name

The Atelier was named after one of Jens' and Jesper's favorite bars in one of their favorite hotels on their yearly tour of shows. The Grand Hotel Nuremberg is an old hotel with a long history and a GREAT bar! When the GiantMouse team is in Nuremberg for the IWA Outdoor Classics show every March, most evenings either begin or end (sometimes both) at Atelier Bar at the Grand Hotel.
