Great Travel Pack

Great Travel pack. Great for hiking or long trips. Detachable pack offers a lot of flexibility for day trips.

I do love all of the detailed pockets inside the pack

Found this to have one too many hanging straps. Wished it had a cleaner look to it, but possibly because it is still empty. Material is also a lot thinner than I had imagined, so I am not sure how it will hold up going through airport check-in. S/O bought the Porter, and his bag seems more durable for air travel. May have to additionally buy the Osprey Airporter as reassurance. I do love all of the detailed pockets inside the pack. The 15L backpack also has many pockets for tablets, laptop, etc. Overall, this pack will definitely be easier to travel with than a luggage case, so (if it lasts) hopefully worth the investment.

Im a noob to this

I bought this out of wanting to experience the life of a backpacker for a year or 2. I have traveled for the past 8 years with roll-on luggages and it was annoying rolling luggages on uneven streets for extended trekking periods.
The comfort bit of backpacking was just okay.
Because I am a noob to this, I did not realize how important it was to use all the body straps until midway through my trip and way too much back ache. I usually travel heavy (I tend to over do it and go back home with 2 extra luggages), and this backpack made me pedal back on shopping too much and buying things I never end up using.
Overall, once I got a hang on the bag I found it pretty convenient for when I had to walk a bit to my hotel. Depending on how my travels go for the next year I may continue my backpack life beyond 2 year...it depends. Or maybe just use it for travels that require train travels.
