Five stars

Tops knives are very well made. If you do a lot of outdoor and camping Tops is the knife to have!
I'm pretty sure KaBar's BK9 has some serious competition here. I love this knife! Great for my collection. I love it well worth the purchase

TOPS Anaconda 9 Knife

This Knife is heavy, big, and looks really badass. Let's get real: if you are buying this knife for bushcraft, you are better off with a machete or a sport axe and good solid 4-5" fixed blade with hard steel, like a bark river knife. However, it you want a really badass looking knife, this is it. I used it to hack through some softwood logs about 4" in diameter and some hickory about 2" in diameter. It worked almost as well as an axe. When I was done, the blade had several small chips in it. My wrist was also tired. With a machete to cut wood, I can use my shoulder and back muscles, but with this knife, I pretty much had to use my wrist and elbow. By the time I was done, I could feel it in my wrist.

For close in work, you will want to have a good folding or fixed blade knife. This blade is too unwieldy for details like feathersticking or skinning fresh meat.

The blade comes pretty sharp, but if you want a "scary sharp" edge, or need to remove chips, you will have to reprofile it. Since this is such a long blade, that can take a while. Look up "virtuvoice" on youtube if you don't know how to do this already. Be sure to dull the blade by the last finger grip so that you don't cut your finger as I did
