Benchmade's first AXIS-Assist knife, the Barrage, is now available with gray G-10 in the 585-2 G10 Barrage. In addition to the milled G-10, this Barrage also dons a premium CPM-S30V steel blade. The proven design of the Barrage stays the same, but the look and feel of this model is certain to be a hit.

The Mini Barrage 585-2 has a plain edge, satin finished blade.

My Daily Carry Knife. Outstanding All Around.

I have lots of knives but we use these around the ranch daily. Small enough to keep in a front pocket. Quick blade deployment without having to look at the knife. Important if you have ever had a horse down in a trailer. Sometimes the only option is to cut a lead line and speed is important. Same for self defense! No time for a traditional folding blade!
A bit expensive, but the design makes it worth it. We just gifted one as a graduation present to a cowboy friend. Cutting round bale netting will dull any knife fast. This knife holds an edge as well as any.

Love the locking system

This knife IS expensive, but you pay for something that WILL last generations. You hold this knife and you just know it's quality is top notch. Love the locking system and it gives you that assurance because the blade is sharp and you could really hurt someone if an accident were to happen.
