This elite expression of the Para Military 2 proudly joins the ranks of Spyderco’s elite Sprint Run series showcasing CPM-15V steel. Created by Crucible Industries, CPM-15V is a state-of-the-art particle metallurgy tool steel with an extremely high vanadium content. Its unique alloy composition offers superior wear resistance, a quality that translates to extreme sharpness and edge retention in knife blades. The full flat-ground, stonewashed blade of this knife maximizes these properties with a specialized heat-treating protocol developed by renowned custom knifemaker Shawn Houston. Consistent with the signature theme of this Sprint Run family, the handle of this Para Military 2 features brown peel-ply-textured G-10 scales and the reverse side of the blade is laser engraved with Shawn Houston’s “Big Brown Bear” logo.

Fast delivery on a fantastic knife

The Paramilitary 2 is a design worthy of the volumes of praise it has received over the years and I happily scribe my agreement into that growing tome of appreciation. My only minor complaint with the knife is a slight inconsistency in the grind angles. This is not enough to cause me concern as to its performance and I am sure that I can straighten the imperfection out during its first sharpening. (Which, hopefully, won't be any time soon with the 15V blade steel.) North River Outdoors had the knife in the mail the same day that I purchased it. I completed the purchase on a Friday and had the knife in hand the following Monday! I am incredibly impressed with the seller and would definitely buy from them again. Thank you for a great transaction!
