TOPS Sheep Creek SPCK-01 Rough Terrain 154CM Green Canvas Fixed Blade (USA)
Designed by TOPS employee Dylan Waters, the Sheep Creek is the winner of the 5th annual TOPS' employee design contest. Built to be an effective camp knife with a size small enough for EDC, the Sheep Creek blends the versatile Sheepsfoot blade with a stout construction and ergonomic handle design for daily carry utility. The Sheep Creek comes with a tumbled black "Rough Terrain" 154CM stainless steel blade and green-over-tan canvas Micarta handle scales.
Brand new directly from TOPS Knives.
Blade: The 154CM stainless steel Sheepsfoot blade comes with a unique tumbled black "Rough Terrain" finish that hides wear from use and is discreetly non-reflective. With a cryo treated full tang 3/16" thick construction the blade is durable for heavy use with a high saber grind offing balanced performance. Jimping on the spine and a scalloped cutout near the tip provide solid control in any grip.
Handle: Layered natural and green canvas Micarta handle scales are contoured to comfortably fill the hand. Traction milling and subtle finger grooves offer a secure grip while the arched shape gives leverage for powerful cuts. Scales come attached to the tang via black Allen screws and a hollow lanyard tube.
Sheath: Carries via an OD Green Kydex sheath with scout carry loops.
Crucible 154CM: Originally developed as a stainless bearing steel, 154CM is an improved version of 440C with added molybdenum that offers improved resistance to pitting from corrosion and higher hardness for better edge retention. Similar to Hitachi ATS-34.
