Good but not for long term traveling.

This is a very well made backpack. Comfortable and ergonomic. Would definitely recommend for a backpacking trip. HOWEVER, I backpacked through Europe with it for 2 months, and I would not recommend living out of it. It only has a top opening, so I probably re-packed this backpack close to 100 times, which got pretty old. If you are backpacking long term I do highly recommend Osprey, it’s a great company, just not this model.

Bruises hips - and just doesn't fit right.

I am a huge fan of Osprey packs - and have several. I've used them for hiking and for running and just general use - and really loved them. I wanted to love this one but it just didn't fit me right no matter how much youtube I watched to try and figure out how to adjust and no matter who was helping me adjust it.

Overall - the pack is high quality - it has a lot of pockets and most everything was easy to reach. I'm not a fan of taking a pack off, getting stuff out, putting it on, rinse and repeat hourly - so I tend to prioritize pack so I don't have to do that. So no issues with this. I could reach for things with the pockets that were close mostly easily - sometimes I needed someone else to help. That's ok if you have someone with you.

The main problem is the hip area. I adjusted this all over the place. I measured myself (and had it done professionally) and the pack size S is right. I'm 5'1" and about 130-134 lbs and everything said this was the right size. I have hips but I am not super curvy and the hip band just cut into my hip area every time I wore it no matter how it was adjusted. It hurt like crazy and all I could focus on was the pain of the rubbing and not the fun of the being outside.

I think the key to this pack is if it fits your body shape. If it does I think it's a great pack (the reason for the 3 stars - as this fits my friend well but, for me, I could not adjust it well enough not to have bruises on my hips and pain that was pretty constant.
