The ZT 0470 handsome new design from ZT and Dmitry Sinkevich begs to take pride of place in your collection.

The ZT 0470 is an impressive Sinkevich flipper design outfitted with a titanium frame lock handle and a marbled carbon fiber inlay. Its drop point blade is made from satin finished CPM-20CV steel, and rides on a smooth KVT bearing pivot. Solid ergos, clean lines, and a practical build make the 0470 a fantastic addition to any everyday rotation.

The 0470’s handle is titanium with an eye-catching marbled carbon fiber insert. Instead of a formal “weave” as in standard carbon fiber sheets, for our “marbled” insert, the carbon fibers are dropped randomly onto the plate. Then resin is added to secure the fibers and produce a smooth surface. ZT leaves ours with a matte finish for an intriguing and sophisticated look. A titanium clip and a black anodized-aluminum backspacer complete the look of this refined pocketknife.

An exquisitely well crafted knife

This is my first ZT knife, and I am really impressed by the craftsmanship that was put into this knife. I own several Benchmade knives--at least a dozen of them-- and the ZT 0470 is just like a Benchmade Gold Class edition. The fit and finish is nothing less than perfect. There is no sideways play with the blade and ,at least with the one I received, the blade is dead center. The blade is made of the excellent cpm20cv steel which is a highly prized blade material with high corrosion and edge retention properties. The knife is well balanced and feels comfortably in the hand with no "hotspots".
Visually, between the sculptured profile and the detailed millwork of the titanium scales and the marbled carbon fiber inlay, the knife is like a piece of visual art that could easily fit as a display in the New York Art Museum . As for the price, it is expensive, but well worth the price. If you are looking for sophisticated and stylish folder that is functional, this knife is defintely worth buying.

Of course it’s Zero Tolerance and it’s made in the U.S.

Zero Tolerance is a great brand . Made right here in then U.S. these knives are definitely quality made. You can tell that as soon as you pick it up. Sharp right out of the box. Made with quality materials. The only thing keeping me from giving it 5 stars is it’s a little on the small and light side for a ZT. Knife. I have several and used to them being big and heavy. Otherwise same quality I’m used to.
