This tool is a very well thought out and executed piece of field equipment designed for entry and close combat situations. It's unique point configuration allows the tip to withstand strong sideways pressure. At 1/4" thick, it carries a lot of force for deep slashing cuts and powerful strikes and stabs. It has jimping in several places to give a solid purchase in a variety of tactical holds. All of these features make it ultra dependable and a real winner when you need to get in and back out again. And SERE instructors should know.

One life one knife

I've had one of these for 20 years , this one is for my kid . I have never seen a better heavy bush craft knife.

It's worth the money!!!

This thing is a beast! It's a 1/4" thick and feels like a tool in the hand. It is great for batoning, prying, and other heavy work.
However, the handle is a little small and straight. I can't get the greatest grip. It feels best when my index finger is in the choil but you can't really chop too well like that.
With that being said this knife is still worth the money. It's built to last and will. One of my sons will be using this one day when I'm gone.

TOPS Black Rhino Knife

strongly recommend that knife for every blade lover. You will never feel cheated out of your money, you will see where every $ went. The kydex sheath is as always a great product and the locking is very strong. I can't see this knife fall out in any condition apart from maybe very aggressive army training/operational activity. Speaking of which, I would not take that as a tactical knife. You would need a different handle/blade width and shape. But, that can be a great second blade.
Only down side is that it's almost to beautiful to use. So, I might get myself a second one just in case.
