ouch

First off I am giving this a five star simply for the quality of both the knife and sheath. Very sturdy knife and dangerously sharp. I actually sliced my trigger finger badly enough to bandage it the first time I unsheathed it. the only reason I deducted one star, is due the shape of the knife and sheath, you cannot put your pointer finger where you would have it until the knife is unsheathed, and that's how stupid me cut my finger. This is by far the sharpest factory edge I have ever had a knife have. it is carbon steel so will need oil occasionally on the on the uncoated parts of the blade. once its unsheathed it is fairly comfortable to hold and use. I would recommend the wolf pup xl though due to the longer grip and blade. all in all a very nice knife from a top knotch company, just be careful lol.

my go to

This is a great edc knife, or companion to a larger field knife The blade is stout, and takes an edge quite well. I usually sharpen it every couple of weeks, because it gets used for things that you're not supposed to use a knife for, scraping, prying, chiseling, etc, but this little tool is holding up admirably. The kydex sheath is impressive as well. I don't wear the sheath on my belt, I slip the spring clip onto my jeans pocket and invert the sheath. I have had no problem with retention, even upside down, the knife has never slipped out. Worn this way, the knife is more comfortable than a folding pocket knife, and easier to deploy. Long and short, buy it. Great little knife, great sheath, low price.
